Authorities Trying To Give Man 75 Years For Video Recording Police
Illinois authorities are trying to charge a man with 5 counts of wiretapping, after he video taped a police incident.
Michael Allison, a 41-year-old mechanic rejected a plea deal that would have required him to serve no jail time at all, stating “If we don’t fight for our freedoms here at home we’re all going to lose them.”

As Irene came crashing in on the North Carolina-Virginia coast, millions of people are currently without power, while Philadelphia and New York City remain under Hurricane warning.
About 2 million Virginia homes were without power Saturday night.
