This Grocery Store In Buffalo Will Have 2019 Food Prices For Thanksgiving
As food prices continue to rise, one grocery store chain in Buffalo is rewinding its prices to pre-pandemic and pre-inflation levels.
Turkey prices may pose a threat to many Western New Yorkers' traditional Thanksgiving dinners this year, as certain factors have caused the price of the savory centerpiece to rise.
Turkey prices are soaring at 73 percent above last year's price.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, there are several factors affecting turkey prices, including feed, fuel, fertilizer, and labor costs.
ALDI Is Offering Shoppers 2019 Prices On Thanksgiving Essentials
ALDI is one of my favorite stores. They carry gluten-free, vegan, and organic items at way cheaper prices than most other stores. They also have specialty and gourmet items at very reasonable prices. Now, ALDI is offering shoppers its Thanksgiving Price Rewind. Holiday favorites, including sides, appetizers, desserts, and beverages will be discounted up to 30 percent. ALDI will match its prices from 2019. Shoppers will be able to save money on items like cornbread stuffing, mini quiches, fresh brown-and-serve rolls, and apple pie.
Dave Rinaldo, president of ALDI U.S. said,
Providing amazing products at the absolute lowest prices is what we’ve always done, and we know right now that’s more important than ever. We expect to welcome
tens of millions of customers in our stores this Thanksgiving season, and we want them to know they can count on us. So why not attempt that additional side dish this year, or invite over a few more friends or family members? You can rest easy knowing ALDI has your back this Thanksgiving, and beyond.
The promotion runs now through November 29, 2022.

Whether you shop at ALDI, Wegmans, Tops, Super Price Chopper, Whole Foods, Trader Joe, or another grocery store, my tip is to plan ahead. Look at the store's weekly advertisements and make a list. When you get to the store, stick to your list and don't get distracted by random items. This way, you know exactly what you're going to spend - no surprises.
