The untitled project is described as “a serialized legal and family drama about a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit,” according to Variety. “His quest for freedom is driven by his desperate desire to get back to the family he loves and reclaim the life that was stolen from him.”

50 will executive produce the show via his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. but this isn’t the only show he’s got in the works. Back in November we reported that 50 is working on a new Power spinoff that will actually be a prequel of the successful show.

In a photo posted to social media, 50 is pictured sitting on an old-school police car, and the post is captioned, “My Power spin off is so crazy. Wait till you see this sh*t, TGE influence (The Golden Era) Southside we outside 1988.”

He continued,

“If you thought Kanan was crazy wait till you meet the guys he came up under.”

For those familiar with “Power,” viewers had to say goodbye to 50’s character Kanan during season 5.

The much anticipated final season of Power is set to drop later this year when we will find out the fates of Ghost, Tommy and Angela.
