2 Chainz and Lil Wayne Have a New Collaboration on the Way
It's been just under two years since 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne dropped their joint album, ColleGrove, and it looks like their era as a duo is far from over.
The Atlanta rapper posts a photo of himself and Weezy to Instagram, where he reveals that the two are working on another collaboration together that's on the way. "ME AND MY BROTHA GOTTA ANOTHER 1 ON THE WAY," Chainz writes in the caption.
While we're not sure if the "Good Drank" rapper is implying that he and Wayne are working on a full project, or may simply feature him on an upcoming project, fans are expressing their excitement regardless.
Chainz is reportedly working on another album as we speak, which he revealed to fans back in October. The expected project will serve as the follow-up to his last studio LP, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which had features from Gucci Mane, Drake, Travis Scott, Migos, Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. It also eventually reached gold status, according to the RIAA.
Tity Boi recently made headlines alongside Eminem, as he was featured on the recent "Chloraseptic (Remix)" with Phresher—the original track appears on the Detroit MC's Revival album. While it was Em's verse that made headlines, as he clapped back at critics of his recent studio LP, Chainz's bars were also not to be slept on.
