What’s Your Favorite Pizza Topping? — Survey of the Day
What topping to get on a pizza has long been a subject of discussion among friends. And while Zagat’s first annual pizza survey isn’t necessarily going to solve that debate, it does give a breakdown of which toppings are most popular among the pizza consuming public.
Topping the list overall was pepperoni, followed by mushrooms, sausage, onions and ham/prosciutto. However, women and folks on the West Coast actually prefer mushrooms over pepperoni and the favorite topping of Midwesterners is sausage.
As for America’s least favorite toppings, they were anchovies, pineapple and broccoli in that order and hopefully not at the same time.
