Western New York Lawmaker Wants Limitations On Food Stamp Cards

In times like today, a little extra help on groceries for the house is needed for some. Then there's some that ABUSE the system and profit from taxpayers money who is put towards helping provide that help. State lawmaker for NewYork proposed a bill Wednesday that would but more limitations of the purchases you can make under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

One bold point that stood out to me was the fact that she wants to make it impossible to by Lobster,certain steaks,decorated cakes and energy drinks. Me personally i think this issue is being over analyzed on so many levels. How can you put a limitation on someone getting food,especially cakes? What if a mother wants to buy a cake for her child but doesn't have cash, all she has is her EBT card?
