The Willie Hutch Jones Educational and Sports Programs is hosting its 7th Annual Science Fair to find the next STEAM superstar and you're invited to watch virtually. The WHJESP Science Fair, sponsored by Power 93.7 WBLK, will feature students in grades 3 through 12. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

The virtual science fair will take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 19, starting at 12:30 pm.

Our remote Science Fair will again allow ideas and creativity to flourish while still being fun for participants and keeping them in a COVID-free environment. This year's contestants are challenged to display what “T” for technology in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) means to them.

You can register to watch the science fair and support the students at WHJSC.org.

Prizes for the young people participating include a Nintendo Switch, Amazon gift cards, and more. This is a great opportunity for the community to support students as they learn more about STEAM! WHJESP has done so amazing many events, science fairs, and after-school programs to help students in Buffalo learn about STEAM.

The organization has tons of free programs for students in Buffalo and around the country to participate in.

The Willie Hutch Jones Educational and Sports Program has been providing free programs to children throughout Buffalo for the past 37 years. Founded in 1984, the mission of the Willie Hutch Jones Educational and Sports Program is to provide underserved children, at no charge, equal opportunities to engage in the highest quality programs and to offer character-building activities through academics, sports, and the arts.

You can find information about all of the WHJSC programs here.
