The 9th Annual University United Festival will provide residents of the University District and Buffalo with a free two-day festival this summer. The University United Festival is bringing family, music, culture, community, and fun to the University of Buffalo Rotary Field on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, 2023. The festival is free and open to all.

We're excited to bring the food, fun, music and entertainment back to the University District in Buffalo, NY this year. We hope you'll join us as we bring our community together for a weekend of entertainment, delicious local food, and community education!

The Festival will kick off at 2 pm on Saturday for the University Community Parade down Bailey Avenue to celebrate the City of Buffalo and the University District community. Then, starting at 3 pm, I'll be hosting a can't-miss concert series, sponsored by M&T Bank, featuring national recording artists Lloyd, R&B legends The Whispers, and Grammy-nominated member of the R&B group New Edition - Johnny Gill!

The second day of the festival is "Gospel Sunday," sponsored by Highmark and hosted by Bishop Darius Pridgen. Sunday's events will kick off with a free fitness class at 2 pm and feature Gospel award-winning artist Pastor Mike Jr. and Grammy-winning Gospel artist Hezekiah Walker.

Of course, the festival has to represent Buffalo artists. Local musicians Cami Clune, Vibrant Strings, and The Music Company will be performing. Matt Wilson from American Idol will perform the national anthem.

In addition to the music, there will be food trucks, a free kids' zone sponsored by KeyBank, community resources, and more. For more information, visit UniversityUnitedFestival.com.
