In all our years of watching basketball, we don’t think we’ve ever seen a harder flagrant foul than the one Jason Smith doled out to Blake Griffin.

Former NBA player and ESPN analyst Jalen Rose was let out  early from a suburban Detroit jail after doing time for drunken driving. Rose was released from an Oakland County Jail after serving 16 days of a 20 day sentence. The 38-year-old was sentenced from a judge who is known for her tough punishment.

NBA players have been locked out after both sides failed to reach a new collective bargaining agreement.  The move could put next season on hold.  Both sides say they are losing money and can’t agree on a new pact.
