Sabres Roast Ducks In Season Opener

An excited Buffalo Sabres took to the ice in Helinski, Finland today (October 7th), for their season opener against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

The Sabres made an impressive debut, winning over the Mighty Ducks in a score of 4-1

Left Wing and newly named alternate captain Thomas Vanek scored two goals, while Captain Jason Pominville put one in the net himself and contributed to a couple of goals.
