Man Tries to Lure Teen Girl into his Truck

Stranger danger! A man has been arrested for trying to lure a teen girl into his truck in Buffalo!

A 48-year-old man has been arrested by Buffalo police for trying to lure a teenage girl into his truck! The 13-year-old girl said it happened in the broad daylight, around 2 pm on Saturday afternoon! The attempted abduction happened around South Park Ave. and Alabama St., according to WIVB! Thankfully the girl ran away from the man and called 911! The man was alter apprehended by Buffalo POD and identified as Franklin Araujo-Perez. He has been charged with stalking, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

This had to have scared the life out of her and her parents, but thankfully the man was arrested and taken off the streets. This may not have been his first time trying to lure a teenager! Always teach your children not to go anywhere with strangers or even people they know (like a neighbor, friend or family member) without prior clearance from you. You can't be too safe!
