This little girl's rap song to her father she never sees is so powerful, it will make you want to run and hug you child!

I, like so many kids in this world, grew up without my dad. You never exactly know why he's not around, but the void left by his absence stays with you forever. I saw this on Facebook the other day and broke into tears! Every man should see this video so he can see how important a father is to his child, and the pain it causes when he's gone.

Sometimes the mother does things to keep the child away from her dad. Other times the dad flat out walks away from the family. More often than we'd like to admit, a man's lifestyle creates that distance between him and his kids. I'm talking about men who work too much and never make time for soccer practice or dance recitals. I'm talking about men who run the streets doing illegal activity or chasing after other women. And I'm talking about men who make stupid choices that get them locked up in prison for 5,10,20 years.

The moment I became a parent, my whole life changed. My needs are no longer priority. Every thing I do and every decision I make is in the best interest of my daughter because she chose me to take care of her on this Earth and God trusted me to handle that responsibility.

It's my prayer that all the hurt and disappointment this little girl poured into this recording will warm the heart of every parent who watches it. May good parents become great and dead beats wake up to the fact that your son/daughter only has one father and that's YOU!
