Families are invited to attend a free event that is sure to entertain and inform teens about early career training opportunities. High school students in Erie 1 BOCES' Fashion Design and Merchandising program will bring their designs to life at Walden Galleria Mall on Thursday, April 3, 2014. From concept drawings to stitching the hems, the students poured countless hours into the outfits that will be worn on the runway. The show, titled "Illuminate," will take place at 6:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. In between the performances families are encouraged to visit a career expo, which will explain the career and technical course options available as part of public education.
