After being found off all charges related to the death of Alix Rice, the "Good Doctor" will still find himself behind bars, after the judge gave James C Corasanti the maximum punishment for misdemeanor DUI.

"Dr. Corasanti, you drank a lot of booze that night. And then you chose to walk to your car and drive...And driving while drunk is clearly not a victim-less crime" - Judge Sheila A. DiTullio

The Amherst doctor who struck and killed a teen aged girl while drunk driving admitted to leaving the scene of the crime and will not appeal the 1 year jail sentence. He will also had his driver’s license revoked for six months and must put an ignition interlock device on his car.
