"It takes us working together to help keep our children safe"

Darryl King, principal of East Community High School, is collaborating with the Buffalo Police, neighbors, businesses, and block clubs throughout the city for the Safe Passage Program. After conducting a survey in the school, he learned more than half of the females in the student body, were approached by a stranger going to or from school.

The Safe passage will use the help of residents in the city of buffalo and local businesses to keep watch on students as they travel to school and back home. They are looking for volunteers and it won't take much of your time.

Another community meeting to discuss the Safe Passage is scheduled for Tuesday March 13th from 6:00pm-7:00pm at:
