New Yorkers are being warned not to eat any of these charcuterie products. Who doesn't love a good charcuterie board? They are a staple in my home. When I feel like snacking there's nothing better than a mixture of savory, sweet, tangy, and spicy nibbles that only a charcuterie board can provide. But, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service wants to make sure people in New York don't eat a particular brand of ready-to-eat charcuterie board meats.

Most people with Salmonella infection have diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps. Symptoms usually begin six hours to six days after infection and last four to seven days. However, some people do not develop symptoms for several weeks after infection and others experience symptoms for several weeks.

While they are no longer available for purchase, the Fratelli Beretta brand Antipasto Gran Beretta was sold at Costcos in New York. Sam's Clubs around the state sold the Busseto brand Charcuterie Sampler. The affected products include any lot code for both samplers.

Fratelli Beretta USA, Inc., which is located in Mount Olive, New Jersey, issued the recall for approximately 11,097 pounds of charcuterie meats on January 3, 2024.

Please do not consume these ready-to-eat charcuterie samplers. You should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

I had food poisoning like a week or so ago. It was TERRIBLE. That was some of the worst pain I've ever felt. Do yourself a favor and dump these charcuterie samplers if you have them in your refrigerator.
