You’re Invited To The 10th Annual For Our Daughters Gala

Many great organizations all over Western New York do amazing work to improve and uplift our communities.

The arrival of fall also brings Gala season upon us, the perfect time for organizations to gather together with their supporters to begin celebrating their achievements.

Organizations like the Buffalo Urban League, Black Achievers, Housing Opportunities Made Equal, Catholic Health Systems, Shea's Buffalo, Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, and the Buffalo Zoo all hold their celebrations in the fall. While these galas serve as a means to celebrate, they also often serve as a method for these organizations to raise additional funds to support their various missions.

There is another organization in Western New York that is celebrating its tenth year by hosting a disco theme gala on Saturday, September 30th.

For Our Daughters Is Hosting Its 10th Annual Gala.

You are cordially invited to attend For Our Daughters, Inc.'s 10th Annual Gala at Salvatore's on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

The theme of this year's event is a Disco Night, in addition to all sorts of fun, dinner, and dancing, which will feature a performance by The Voice star Joshua Vacanti.

For Our Daughters, Inc. was founded in 2012 by WKBW-TV Personality, AM Buffalo & 7Life Host Mercedes Wilson after she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer when she was 28 years old.

Her journey of learning about her family history lead her to create For Our Daughters, whose mission is to assist young women between the ages of 11-19 with living longer, healthier lives by taking the reigns on their health. Ultimately, Mercedes and the entire organization want to play a large part in seeing young women all over WNY live long, healthy lives.
