Buffalo is making International news again! But this time instead of a good Samaritan, we are looking at a seemingly drunk Bills fan who falls from the rafters of Ralph Wilson Stadium!

So this guy sitting up in the 300 section decided to slide down the rail at yesterdays football game where the Bills beat the Jets 37 - 14. But once he got close to the edge, it looks like he tried to swing his leg over and that's when he began the free fall into section 239. He landed on another fan and both men were taken and later released from the hospital.

Let's see that again!

Dang dude, if you wanted to be closer to the field, just buy better seats! But seriously, I'm glad everyone made it out of there alive. Both men were treated at the scene, then taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. They were released from ECMC early Sunday evening.

An ambulance report from Rural/Metro Medical Services said that the man who fell suffered a shoulder injury and that the man he struck had a head injury.

The Bills today released a statement on the incident from team President and CEO Russ Brandon:

“The irresponsible behavior that occurred at yesterday’s game by the fan who fell from the upper deck is a violation of our Fan Code of Conduct and cannot, and will not, be tolerated. This individual will not be permitted back into Ralph Wilson Stadium. The vast majority of our fans who attend Bills home games at Ralph Wilson Stadium do so in a responsible manner and we continue to work diligently to eliminate those individuals who violate our Fan Code of Conduct from game days at our stadium. We are cooperating with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office during their investigation of this incident and we want to extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery to the fan who was injured in the 200 level.”

Welp, I hope this discourages any copycats!
