I saw this story on the morning news, and I decided to look into it a little more.

It seem's that the Canadian Olympic Committee has been looking into the idea of bidding for the 2024 Olympics to be hosted in Toronto.

James Pasternak, a City Councillor for Toronto, has publicly said that Toronto doesn't necessarily have the financially capability to fully host the Olympic Games and should look into the idea of doing a cross-border partnership with a near by American city, like Buffalo...

Yesterday our fine Mayor Byron Brown was quoted as saying, "It's a novel concept, very interesting to hear about a proposal to bring an Olympics to a binational area -- to come to Toronto and the city of Buffalo. I'm certainly intrigued by it."

Hmmmmmmm???

The winning city for the 2024 games will be announced in 2017.
