Nellida Baez-Alvarado of Tonawanda, who is a court officer, headed out to pick up some mayonaise on her lunch break and came back $1 million richer.

She bought a lottery ticket from Tops that changed her life, according to WIVB! Ironically, she didn't even buy the mayo because she was running out of time, but she did leave with some scratch-off tickets.

She scored big with her Win $1,000 A Week for Life ticket! Baez-Alvarado will receive $1 million in annual payments for the next 20 years. She will end up pocketing $34,414 annually from the $52,000 per year payments.
