If you weren't there, you missed the HOTTEST DANCE PARTY OF THE YEAR!!  The 2nd Annual WBLK Old Soul Party that took place last Sat (Oct 22nd) at the Adams Mark Hotel.  This soulful event brought in over 900 people from all over Western NY to include Cleveland, Rochester, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and more to let loose on the dance floor with WBLK's own DJ Stoney, and special guest DJ Quincy for the Ebony Sound crew in Toronto. Playing the hits from Motown sound, the 70's Funk, and the sexed up singles from the Disco era, hundreds of fleet footed funksters were able to create New York's longest Soul Train Line from one end of the Adams Mark Ballroom to the other. In fact it took a full 4 minutes for an individual to dance from the beginning of the line to the end!  The WBLK Old Soul Dance Party was inspired by the 70's hit TV show 'Soul Train' and was a tremendous success. The price was right, the drinks were lite and the food was alright as our guests were able to spend the night 'getting their boogie on!'  One particular feature from the night was our special performance guests. We had lip syncer look-a-likes performing Stevie Wonder's UPTIGHT, Gladys Knights NEITHER ONE OF US and the show stopper Rick James and Teena Marie singing FIRE AND DESIRE  as performed by local celebrities Tanya Diona and Joey Diggs,(who actually sang the song)!!

A special thank you goes out to all who came  and supported this event! We look forward to seeing you 'Cool Cats' at next years WBLK Old Soul Party!
