The Twitter beef between Wale and conservative TV host Tomi Lahren started when the DMV rapper called her out in his song "Smile." Since then the two have engaged in a digital back-and-forth that's been pretty entertaining.

The back-and-forth started on April 17, when Lahren responded to fans who are tweeting support for her as she pursues a legal case against The Blaze network. The right-wing pundit was fired by the network’s CEO Glenn Beck after she expressed her pro-abortion and pro-women’s rights sentiments on The View. Fans urged Lahren to keep her head up, and the 24-year-old unemployed personality decided to reference Wale’s latest single, “Smile.”

"Same phone who dis,” Wale tweeted in response to her referencing his “Smile” song.

Then yesterday (April 26), the MMG artist hosted a listening session for his new Shine album, and he previewed a song called "Shine Season," where he went at Lahren on wax again, following his first mention of her on "Smile."

"Tomi Lahren, I ain't ready for you / All the Beckys want an Uncle Tom Sawyer / Race draft first pick, John Lennon or Don Lemon," spit Wale.

That of course prompted the former host of the The Blaze to respond.

"Again?" she tweeted. "Damn. Must be in love." And that's where things pretty much left off between the two.

Meanwhile, Wale announced that his Shine album will be arriving a week earlier than scheduled.
