START UP is a television program that offers its viewers an up-close and personal look into the world of the modern American entrepreneur. As complicated as starting a business may seem, START UP shares the real life experiences of average Americans who are taking control of their own destiny.

Jenny Lefemme is the producer on the show and a friend of mine from Michigan. Her crew decided to come film in Buffalo after receiving emails from business owners who's success proves that Buffalo is on the Move!

Upcoming episodes of Start Up will feature Public Espresso, a small-batch coffee roaster based out of the Hotel at the Lafayette;
City Dining Cards, a downtown Buffalo company which recently raised $1 million to fund an aggressive expansion of its business model;
and Consumer’s Craft Cruiser, an “eco/beer-tourism bicycle business.”
