The Buffalo Bills announced today that they will be parting ways with 5 players including a few special teamers.  The cuts include kicker Dan Carpenter, and long snapper Garrison Sanborn.

There were five cuts total.  Corner Back Nickell Robey-Coleman, tight end Gerald Christian and Safety Phillip Thomas were also let go.

Many people saw the Carpenter cut happening after a year of struggles on the field in 2016.

The spot to kick for the extra point was moved back and while many kickers had trouble with it, Carpenter missed 6 of them.

Two of the big surprises in those cuts came from Sanborn, and Robey-Coleman who had both been on the team for a while.

Sanborn was one of the highest tenured players according to The Bills at 8 years, and Robey-Coleman has been here since the 2013 season.
