The Bisons Are Coming Out With a Children’s Book

Sounds crazy right but its not. Its called "Celery's Greatest Race" and it features Buffalo Bison mascot Celery. In the book the mascot overcomes  the odds to win a race against  Wing, Cheese ) race at Sahlen Field in 2017.

They will be dropping this new book on the  Bisons Family Day Open House which is on Saturday, March 9th at Sahlen Field from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Book Proceeds will benefit the Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries.

According to the Bisons,  the book chronicles "Celery's adventure from a young stalk in the ground just hoping to be selected to go to a farmer’s market to that famous late summer night when it crossed the finish line ahead of its competitors for the first and only time
