What a wild and crazy week it’s been in the NFL. I don’t think we have ever seen a week like it in free agency. Not only that but all the trades and releases as well.

The Buffalo Bills have made some huge splashes in free agency. The team signed star edge rusher Von Miller to a 6-year, $120 million contract on Wednesday night, which sent shockwaves across the NFL.

The Bills have also released some players this week. The team cut offensive lineman Daryl Williams, linebacker A.J. Klein, guard Jon Feliciano and wide receiver Cole Beasley.

The Bills released another player on Friday afternoon.

The team has announced they have released defensive tackle, Star Lotulelei.

Lotulelei was signed by the Bills in 2018 as an unrestricted free agent and was a solid run stuffer for the Bills in his time in Buffalo.

However, Lotulelei lost his starting job to Harrison Phillips last season (Phillips left for Minnesota), and with all the moves the Bills have made at defensive tackle, this move was expected. It saves the Bills salary cap space as well.

The Bills signed defensive tackles Tim Settle, JaQuan Jones and brought back Jordan Phillips. The team has reportedly signed back defensive end Shaq Lawson and brought in Von Miller. The entire defensive line outside of Ed Oliver was revamped.

We will see what the Bills decide to do in free agency as the days and weeks progress. Maybe another big move is on the way?
