This is just disgusting to me.

Earlier this week WBLK personality Young Nok wrote an article about the homicide rate in Buffalo. I found it hard to believe out of the 30 homicides that have happened this year, one of them being his brother Jeremy Lamar, ONLY FIVE HAVE BEEN SOLVED...

What are your SERIOUS suggestions for stopping the violence in Buffalo?  To say things are out of hand is an understatement at this point.  Just this past weekend, the latest victim was a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to death and then set on fire...

We are definitely living in very troubling and challenging times right now. From the ongoing violent occupations of this country in the so-called middle east, higher than ever incarceration rates in this country (the highest in the world), poverty, AIDS, the ongoing debate about same sex marriage; things are spiraling out of control!

A prominent Pastor/Actor was carjacked and assaulted Wednesday afternoon in Detroit. Four young black males escaped with his wallet, Rolex, cell phone and luxury SUV after ripping the Pastor's pant off his body.

Saturday May 12th 2012 7 people were shot on the streets of Buffalo, NY. For Fisk University graduate Samantha Corthan, the shot was fatal. The community is buzzing with talk of stricter punishments for violent criminals claiming the lives of our youth.

I am sure that you would agree that we are more violent now than we were say 10 or 20 years ago. We are bombarded everyday with images of violence on television from drive-by shootings, domestic violence, bullying, military occupation overseas, Hollywood movies, video games and more...
