Had he lived he would have been 61 today. Born on April 20, 1951 in New York City this singer, producer, and songwriter began his music career as a commercial jingle singer. He by far is one of the greatest if not the greatest balladeer of all-time!

Today’s Bonus Beats Thursday Remake Retake features the song “Love Won’t Let Me Wait” released in in 1975 and made famous by Major Harris. “Love Won’t Let Me Wait” was the biggest record of Major Harris’ career that reached the #1 position and was certified gold.
