After a couple of cool days this past weekend in Western New York, another round of heat and humidity is on tap this week for the 716.

The National Weather Service has issued another heat advisory for parts of Western New York. It will be in effect from 11 am to 8 pm Thursday.

Most of us woke to gray skies, rain, and the rumble of thunder this morning, that didn't do much to quell the heat and humidity...but you can look forward to a pleasant change for the weekend.

We went from the 3rd rainiest July on record to the heat and humidity of August. We are expected to see a hot and humid week here in the 716.

Look out for very hot temperatures in Buffalo.
