Lucas McAneny, 35, of Hamilton, Ontario, along with his two-year-old son, Sutton, crossed the Buffalo Marathon finish line last weekend in two hours, 33 minutes, and 32 seconds to seal their first-place finish.

It's a big weekend in Buffalo. The long-awaited Buffalo Marathon will be taking place, finally! That also means there will be some pretty major road closures.

Buffalo Marathon's fundraising events have raised over $61,000 for cardiac programs at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute, since the beginning of February, and they're less than halfway to their goal.

If there's one thing Buffalo knows, it's food.  Next up, though, has to be 5K races and charity walks (which are usually followed by big parties including tons of food, so all bases covered there...).  Here is a PARTIAL list of some of this summer's biggest fun runs, 5k's, and charity walks in the area ...
