At the beginning of the school year, officials warned to stop for school buses or be fined and since that announcement at least 2,250 tickets have been issued

School is back in session in Western New York, and while many kids are buzzing with excitement, there is one thing that most kids are not looking forward to.

There’s a brand new school year just around the corner for public schools across Western New York, making this a very expensive time of year for parents and those supporting kids who need clothes, shoes, backpacks, and supplies.

And it was only the first day.
