The Buffalo Bills made two trades at the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday and both came right at the 4 pm deadline.

The Bills traded running back Zack Moss and a conditional sixth round pick to the Indianapolis Colts for running back Nyheim Hines.

They then traded a seventh round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for safety Dean Marlowe.

Hines finally provides that style of running back the Bills have wanted -- pass catching, explosiveness. The Bills drafted James Cook in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but he has not been a big part of the offense so far.

Hines excels at pass catching, has sub 4.4 speed and can return kicks and punts. Hines can also in a pinch, run between the tackles.

Some Bills fans had a lukewarm response to the trade, for whatever reason; whether it was because he was a name they weren't familiar with or the fact he backed up star Jonathan Taylor.

Hines is a perfect fit for the Bills offense and on Tuesday, Pat McAfee (who is a former Colts punter and Colts fan), applauded the move.

McAfee said that Hines is explosive and will be great in the community, which he was in Indianapolis. McAfee also shared a quote that Hines says before he goes out to return every punt.

"If I die, I die."

Here's Hines returning a punt.

Hines will likely be inserted right into the lineup against the New York Jets this Sunday, but we have to wait and see how much offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey puts on his plate in the first game or two.
