Mos Def Joins Cast Of Hit Showtime Series

According to sources, Mos Def returns to the small screen after locking a deal to appear in a multi-episodes on the upcoming sixth season of Showtime’s Dexter. Mos plays a “hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence.” The sixth season of the show begins shooting in June with plans for the new batch of episodes to air in the fall. The Brooklyn, New York native has previously appeared on TV shows including House, Yo Gabba Gabba!, and The Boondocks.
