Meet America’s Oldest Person

Happy birthday to a woman who has seen more than anyone else currently living in the United States.

Alelia Murphy celebrated her 114th birthday Saturday.

According to Metro Source News:

Born on July 6, 1905, Murphy celebrated at the Harlem State Office Building on Friday to mark the occasion.  A nurse tells the Manhattan Times that Murphy's secret to longevity is eating healthy and continuing to live an active lifestyle.

Can you imagine what she has seen change in her life? From both World Wars, to the World Wide Web, she has witnessed a great deal of history.
