Lil Nas X (Old Town Road Song Creator) Comes Out in Pride Post

Lil Nas X celebrated the end of Pride Month by sharing something huge. In a Twitter post, the rapper asked fans to go listen to a track off of his recent EP 7 with fresh ears.

"Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure,"

 

The lyrics to "c7osure" are incredibly vague. Flower Boy it is not. But with a little nudge, it's easy to see how it could be a song about the struggle to come out.

“Brand new places I’ll choose and I’ll go, I know / Embracin’ this news I behold unfolding," he raps. "I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time / But I look back at this moment, I’ll see that I’m fine.”
