Jon Hubbard" (Arkansas Legislator) Endorses Slavery In New Book !Jon Hubbard, a member of the House of Representatives in Arkansas, has ignited a furious debate after publishing his book, "Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative." Among other things, the Republican leader has claimed that slavery "may actually have been a blessing in disguise". Here is what the congressman wrote in his new book:

"The institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise," Hubbard wrote. "The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth."

Uh no thanks Mr. congressman. The sad part about this statement is there are probably ancestors of slaves sitting here reading this post saying "well he does have a point". No he doesn't because America would not be the nation it is if it wasn't for slavery.

If it wasn't for slavery and modern day capitalism other nations may have risen to become even greater than America. The continent of Africa has 60% of the earth's natural resources. The past is the past but to dilute the past to make it seem like it was beneficial to the people being beaten, raped and forced to live their lives in servitude is disrespectful. Welcome this man and anyone else who thinks like him into THE BIG DUMMY FILES.
