Ja Rule’s Wife Speaks On Rumors of Being Broke

Despite rumors that Ja Rule left his family broke before starting his prison bid last week. Sources say Ja’s wife, Aisha Atkins, decided to respond to the rumors. During a recent interview, Atkins revealed that she and her family are doing just fine financially. "He did leave us well off. All of the rumors about Ja being broke are far from true, Ja made sure…that me and my kids wouldn't need anything as far as income goes. He planned well before he went in. We won't be bad…even for a little bit -- that was Ja's first priority as a man who makes sure family comes first." Ja Rule began his two-year prison sentence on Wednesday, June 8. The two-year sentence stems from a 2007 incident in which Ja Rule was caught with a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his car.
