Buffalo Bills defensive end Joey Bosa got some very bad news ahead of the Bills' game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The defensive end, who signed with the Buffalo Bills this offseason, is coming off maybe his best game of the year so far. Bosa had two tackles, one sack, and another pressure in the win over Carolina, but it was one play late in the game that caught the NFL's eye.

Joey Bosa Fined By The NFL For Tripping

With around 30 seconds left in the first half of the game against the Carolina Panthers, Joey Bosa brought down Carolina QB Andy Dalton, but there was a flag on the play. Bosa, who rushed up the field and just beyond Dalton, stuck out his foot to trip up the Panther QB. Tripping is illegal in the NFL, and Bosa was flagged for a 15-yard penalty.

This is the second time Bosa has been fined by the NFL. He was fined over $55,000 back in 2023 for two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties during the wild-card loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and his criticism of the officials after the game.
