While the all bans have been lifted, there are still travel advisories in place for parts of Western New York. South Buffalo and the southtowns remain under the advisories as crews continue to clear the main roads and side streets after record snow this weekend.

EXTRA: FOUR TOWNS IN NEW YORK GOT OVER 5 FEET OF SNOW

Officials are asking that if you don't have to be out on the road, please stay home. The fewer vehicles on the roads means more room for the snowplows and diggers to operate.

EXTRA: RECORD AMOUNT OF SNOW FALLS AT BUFFALO AIRPORT

As the cleanup continues today and tomorrow, more and more of those travel advisories will be lifted opening up all the roads.

For those looking at traveling for the Thanksgiving break, the 90 has been reopened completely and it looks like most flights from the buffalo Niagara International airport are running on time. Airline officials did stress that you should double-check your flight status before heading to the airport.

Could the travel bans come back? Another storm is heading our way but it looks like this weekend will be more rain than snow, which means the roads should remain snow free, but instead you will have to watch out for flooding issues.
