The weather hasn't been perfect here in Western New York over the past several weeks, but we are not alone.

Many states across the country have also had some wet, soggy weather, including Texas. This is where a local TV meteorologist was doing a live report when this lightning strike was caught on camera.

That lightning strike was crazy and just shows how dangerous weather can be. That video would be like someone catching lightning hitting the Seneca One Tower or the antennas atop the Rand Building in downtown Buffalo.

The good news is that we will start to move away from the cold, wet, rainy weather here in New York. This weekend looks like the end of our below-average temperatures and soggy conditions. The start of June is expected to be much sunnier and warmer.

Sunday, we are looking at sunny skies with a high near 65

Monday, the warming trend continues with mostly sunny skies and a high near 69. We could get into the 70s by next Tuesday and Wednesday.
