3 “Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York

There were some very happy Powerball players in New York on Saturday.

The New York State Lottery announced there were several "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York, including one ticket that won $150,000.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were three 3rd-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York from Saturday's Powerball drawing. These tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Two tickets won $50,000 while the third one had the Powerplay and won $150,000.

There were also 25 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 22 of these tickets won $100 while three of them had the Powerplay that triple the prize amount to $300 each.

There were also 63 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York from Saturday's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 50 of those tickets won $100 while 13 other tickets had the Powerplay and won $300.

Here were the winning numbers from Saturday's Powerball drawing: 8-31-57-65-67 with a Powerball number 23.

Did Anyone Win The Grandprize Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winning Powerball ticket sold in New York from Saturday's Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing will now be $364 million dollars.

That jackpot would be one of the largest ever won in New York, if someone from New York State were to win it.
