A solar flare that will impact the Earth's astrosphere tonight is set to allow much of New York State to see the Northern Lights tonight.
The solar flare emitted from the sun on Tuesday is set to pass Earth tonight and will end up pushing the Southern boundary of the Northern Lights deep into the southern part of New York State.
