The New York Giants are looking more and more like the Buffalo Bills of New Jersey.

Ever since the Giants signed former Assistant GM Joe Schoen as their GM and former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll as their head coach, the Giants have not been shy about bringing more players from Western New York to New Jersey.

Last year the Giants signed wide receiver Isiaha Hodgins who went on to have a decent season. Last season he had 37 catches for 392 yards and four touchdowns. He was also pretty good in the postseason, recording 9 catches for 108 yards and one touchdown in two games.

Yesterday, the Giants signed two former Buffalo Bills as free agents. The Giants agreed to a deal with tight end Tommy Sweeney and wide receiver Jamison Crowder.

Sweeney was a former 7th-round draft pick of the Bills in 2019. He battled some injuries and over the past three seasons, he caught 18 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown. Sweeney was drafted when both Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll were still in Buffalo.

Jamison Crowder joined the Buffalo Bills as a free agent last season after spending several years playing for the New York Jets and the Washington Commanders. He didn't really get much action on the field for Buffalo last year, catching only six passes for 60 yards. He is headed back to a familiar place as the New York Jets share a stadium with the Giants.

Both players signed veteran minimum contracts with the Giants.
