This is a sure sign that Spring is here in Western New York.

One of the most popular outdoor restaurants is set to open for the season later this week. According to a post on social media, Mississippi Mudds is set to open for the 2025 season this Thursday.

Mississippi Mudds is located on Niagara Street in Tonawanda and usually opens their doors for the season when good weather is here to stay in the 716.

With the opening of Mississippi Mudds soon, you can also expect a lot of the local ice cream shops to open soon. Places like Two Scoops in Hamburg, Frosty's in Lancaster, and Kone King in West Seneca will soon have plenty of people lined up to enjoy some sweet treats.

There is nothing better than grabbing a large twist ice cream cone with cherry dip on a warm Spring/Summer day.

Where is the first place you go in Western New York when the weather gets warm? It is the park, golf course, or maybe just a short walk to your backyard patio.

On top of Mississippi Mudds, there are plenty of other spots around Western New York that offer outdoor patios where you can eat, drink, and relax with friends in the warm weather.
