Over 10 Mega Millions Winning Tickets Sold In New York State

Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing was a very good one for lottery players in New York State.

According to the New York State Lottery, there were a lot of winning tickets sold across the "Empire" State, including 13 tickets that won at least $1000.

While there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Tuesday's drawing, there were plenty of winners who will add some extra cash to people's bank accounts.

There were 11 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Megaball. Based on the built-in Megaplier, they won between $1000 and $2000 each.

There were also 25 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York from Tuesday's drawing. Those tickets matched three out of the five numbers and also had the Megaball. Each one of those tickets, based on the built-in Megaplier, those tickets won between $400 and $100 dollars.

The winning numbers from last night's Mega Millions drawing were: 38-40-60-62-70 with a Mega Ball of 09.

Was There A Grand Prize Winner From Last Night's Mega Millions Drawing?

According to the New York State Lottery, there was no grand prize winner from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. That means the jackpot for Friday's drawing is now up to $30 million dollars.

It has been a couple of weeks since the new Mega Millions format began, and I have to say it seems like there are a lot more winners in New York, and that is a good thing!
