Many members of the Bills Mafia are looking for a silver lining in the Bills' Sunday Night loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Well, how about this? The Buffalo Bills are now part of NFL history.

During the game Buffalo Bills' wide receiver Khalil Shakir set a new NFL record for most consecutive targets and catches in a row. That means every ball intended for him, he has caught. It doesn't matter if it was high, low, or tipped, if the ball was intended for Shakir, he caught it. He caught the first three balls thrown his way setting the record at 30.

Shakir broke the record in the 1st quarter but had his streak snapped in the 2nd quarter when a pass intended for him was knocked down by the Baltimore defense.

The old record was held by Michael Thomas, who set the mark in 2018 for the longest streak in the NFL by a wide receiver since such stats were tracked in 1991.

Shakir has caught 18 passes so far this year for 230 yards and two touchdowns.

Up next is another tough road game for the Buffalo Bills. They will travel to take on Texans in Houston on Sunday with kickoff set for 1 pm.
