It is that time of year. Kids all across New York State are headed back to school, and parents are eager to share those pictures on social media.

This year, police in New York State are warning parents to be careful what they share when they post those "Back To School" pictures

What You Shouldn't Show In "Back To School" Pictures

1 - Don't use the name of your child's school - This makes it very easy for predators or other people to find your child. They can find the school address, start and end times online, and other important info on the school's website.

2- Don't use the name of your child's teacher - Most schools have a staff directory, and it makes it easier for someone to find your child if they can just Google their teacher's name.
