It looks like another massive snowstorm is going to bring several feet of snow to parts of Western New York.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has upgraded their lake effect snow watch to a lake effect snow warning for Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties starting on Wednesday at 4 pm and going until Friday at 1 pm.

Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2
to 3 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high
as 40 mph will produce considerable blowing and drifting snow.

Most towns located east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in Northern New York will be in the target zone for this next storm system.

This storm system is expected to have a major impact on travel in the region. The biggest inference will happen on Thursday and both the morning and afternoon commute. There could be severe delays and accidents due to the weather.
