Nine Thruway Plaza Buildings Sold in Cheektowaga, New York

Downstate investors have acquired a cluster of nine buildings that comprise the bulk of the Thruway Plaza.

According to documents filed July 12 in the Erie County Clerk's office, Equity Holdings of Cheektowaga LLC paid $18.5 million for the buildings with the footprint of the Cheektowaga shopping destination. The deal is one of the largest commercial transactions in Cheektowaga this year.

Investors G&I IX Empire Thruway Plaza LLC had owned the buildings.
The deal includes buildings between 50 and 950 Thruway Plaza Drive.

Combined the nine buildings total 572,6716 square feet and nearly 86 acres.
All were built in 1965.
