There's a saying that people all over the world have been saying for years, which for many has rung to be true, that doesn't seem to apply anymore. We've all said, at some point in our lives, April Showers Brings May Flowers, but it seems that Mother Nature doesn't believe that saying.
Looking at the upcoming weather forecast for the Buffalo area, the region is due to receive quite a bit of rain over the next few days.
As the month of April wrapped up, the area was hit with a bunch of thunderstorms and heavy rains, and these trends are continuing for at least the next week.

As Buffalo gets ready for more wet weather, some pretty dense fog rolled into downtown Buffalo making the drive in more difficult that it usually is.
It's not just Buffalo that has been dealing with fog this morning, as the entire region is having a rough time. Dense fog has also taken over parts of the New York State Thruway and the QEW in Ontario, all the way up to Toronto. Rain will continue in the Buffalo area for the weekend and at least the first half of next week.
What Exactly Is Fog?
According to the National Weather Service, Fog often happens when water vapor condenses and hovers in the air.
Downtown Buffalo had tons of it this morning and you can check out a few photos I was able to snap when coming into the central business district today.
